Description
This 3rd grade math unit covers perimeter. Standard 3.MD.8 is covered. Your students will learn about finding the perimeter of polygons, and will work with rectangles to determine perimeter and length of a missing side.
This is the fifteenth unit of 3rd Grade Guided Math. This unit is focused on Perimeter (3.MD.8) (TEKS 3.7B–download the preview for more information about TEKS correlation) and is a one week long unit.
3rd Grade Guided Math units are recommended for small group, targeted instruction, but also can be used in a whole group format.
