Teach Students About Patterns in Space

Kid-friendly posters and a mini book to color help make hard concepts easier to understand.
Create spinning wheels to teach your first graders the sun cycle and the phases of the moon.
Interactive notebook pages are provided to store examples of things we see in the sky as well as identify if the objects are from the nighttime or daytime sky.
Hands-on science activities are provided to help students track the apparent movement of the sun across the sky and to also learn the difference between revolve and rotate by exercising!
Learn About Seasonal Daylight
In the second half of this unit, students will learn about seasonal daylight and how days are longer in the summer vs. the winter.
Posters, mini books, and puzzles help make this concept kid-friendly.
Students will learn how the tilt of the earth, as it revolves around the sun, gives us seasons!
