- solving for the value of a variable,
- finding the value of a variable when given two equivalent expressions,
- plus comparing numerical expressions.
- They’ll also identify the relationship between corresponding terms.

This is the fourth unit of 5th Grade Guided Math. This unit is focused on solving Numerical Expressions (5.OA.1-3) (TEKS 5.4.D,E,F–download the preview for more information about TEKS correlation) and is a two week long unit.
5th Grade Guided Math units are recommended for small group, targeted instruction, but also can be used in a whole group format.
There are two separate PDF’s included. One with CC Standards and one with TEKS standards.
