Are you looking for fun 3rd grade math activities for shark week? This resource includes 5 activities that you can use with your third graders.
What’s Included in this 3rd Grade Shark Week Resource:
- Day 1: Rounding Puzzles (Students will cut apart, mix, and match 8 four-piece rounding to the nearest hundred puzzles.)
- Day 2: 3-Digit Addition (Students will spin two numbers and add them and record their answers on a separate sheet of paper.)
- Day 3: Multiplication Facts (Cut apart and match the equations to the product board.)
- Day 4: Area of a Rectangle (Students will roll and write two numbers and then will multiply them to calculate the area of the shark holding tank.)
- Day 5: Elapsed Time (Students will roll a dice and move their piece on the game board. They will then add 2 hours and ten minutes to the time they landed on and will record their answers on a separate sheet of paper.)
These 5 activities come in color and black and white, so you can print on white paper or colored paper.
