Description
This 3rd grade math unit covers all things addition and subtraction. Standard 3.NBT.2 is covered. Your students will learn about adding and subtracting numbers with and without regrouping, solving for missing numbers in an equation, subtracting across zeros, as well as solving word problems.
This is the second unit of 3rd Grade Guided Math. This unit is focused on Addition and Subtraction (3.NBT.2 and TEKS 3.4A, 3.5A–download the preview for more information about TEKS correlation) and is a four week long unit.
3rd Grade Guided Math units are recommended for small group, targeted instruction, but also can be used in a whole group format.
