Description
This 3rd grade math unit covers graphing and line plots. Standards 3.MD.3 and 3.MD.4 are covered. Your students will learn about bar graphs, picture graphs, and line plots. They’ll learn how to interpret data as well as create these graphs and line plots. Students will also measure length to the nearest quarter of an inch.
This is the eleventh unit of 3rd Grade Guided Math. This unit is focused on Graphing and Line Plots (3.MD.3,4) (TEKS 3.8A,B–download the preview for more information about TEKS correlation) and is a two week long unit.
3rd Grade Guided Math units are recommended for small group, targeted instruction, but also can be used in a whole group format.
There are two separate PDF’s included. One with CC Standards and one with TEKS standards.
